Established in 2005, Apache Well Service LLC is among the most reliable well service providers in the Appalachian Basin, offering dependable services grounded in decades of experience. From initial completion through end-of-life plugging and abandonment, our team provides the full spectrum of well services. Our History

From a single rig to a trusted Appalachian Basin well service leader — our journey since 2005.

2005 — Founded

Apache Well Service LLC established in Smicksburg, PA with one workover rig and a commitment to safety and quality that remains our foundation today.

2009 — Fleet Expansion

Added second workover rig and completion rig to meet growing demand from Marcellus Shale operators. Crew expanded to 15 employees.

2013 — Pumping Services Launch

Launched dedicated pumping services division with high-pressure frac and cementing equipment. Added 12 employees and 4 pumping units.

2017 — Safety Milestone

Achieved 1 million man-hours without a lost-time incident. Recognized by industry safety organizations for exemplary performance.

2021 — Production Optimization

Added production optimization division with data analytics capabilities. Cross-trained existing crews in diagnostic and optimization techniques.

2026 — Today

Over 500 wells serviced, 40+ employees across six service lines, 99% safety record. Still family-owned, still based in Smicksburg, PA.
